"Oh kiss me like you mean it, like you miss me..." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Will was worried... but not only was he worried, so was Eric. It took a lot to make Jayden as miserable as he was, and today, well it was obvious he needed some help. It'd been two days since Morgan had yelled at him, saying that it was obvious that they weren't going to work out, and that was that.. In result, Jay had begun moping, and locked himself in the dorm.. The only reason he was out today is because he had a dentists appointment, but Will and Eric had only set that up to fix this... They knew Jay was in love with Morgan.. he needed her more than he needed air, right now... he wasn't going to get any better any time soon, and it was bothering everyone.. literally. Jay's the kind of person that when he's down, everyone else feels the brunt of the blow... They weren't having any of that today..
"Nope.. I let him break my nose.. that's not going without punishment, Eric.." They were standing in his livingroom.. Eric sighed, pointing down the hall to the bathroom.. "Lower your voice, dumbass... he has awesome hearing.. I know.. I know.. what do you think we should do? I mean.. we got him here.. now what?" Will pouted at the blank mess in his head, having no sudden ideas, and then lit up like a firework on the fourth of july.. "I got it.." Eric perked, his eyes flickering to the younger brother to listen.. "Okay.. hit me.." Will sat down, and Eric followed.. "Kidnap.. both of them.. lock them in your spare room.. The windows are nailed shut.. we'll leave 'em some drinks.. some snacks.. that's it.." Eric frowned.. "Okay.. well then I have to come up with a way to keep him here... Tell him they moved his appointment up 20 minutes?" Will nodded, shutting up as the sound of running water reached their ears... The bathroom door opened a second later, and a rather tired, sick looking Jayden emerged.. "Dude.. you look like shit.." Jay tossed Will another warning glare, and then sank into the loveseat across from them.. "I know.. it's her fault.." The other two remained silent at that, feeling as if they had all the odds against them..
"Okay.. well I'm going out to starbucks.. Who wants something.." Jayden raised his hand.. "Get me the vanilla bean frap.." Will nodded.. "Strawberry..." Will nodded, though they both knew Jayden hadn't caught on yet.. Slipping out the door, he hopped in the car, and then dove for his car.. he drove quickly, knowing they were on the clock, and stopped at the dorms.. "I know this is mean.... but we gotta do something.. she has to see!" Diving out of the car, Will headed for Morgan's dorm, knocking gently.. "Hey!" he began, leaning against her door.. "Morgan.. it's Will.. you wanna go get a frap with me?" He sighed, and then leaned back, looking over his shoulder at the parking lot.. He had to get her into the car this way.. somehow.. But he had to fill in a blank to keep her there..
"Will wants to play Rock Band.. thought we'd come get you.." Jay'd probably be lurking in the spare room when they got back, looking for something Eric'd asked him to.. No doubt, Eric had gotten a plan cooking quickly.. This had to work.. It just had to.. They weren't going to live long with their youngest brother, the glue of the trio, falling apart.. It just wasn't happening.. When the door opened, he gave her a smile, though grumbled.. His nose still hurt.. They said it was getting better though.. "Okay.. come on.." Reaching for her hand, he pulled her with him to the car.. "We gotta hurry though.. he's waiting.." Leading her to the passenger's side, he hood-slid across and got into the driver's side, smiling.. "This is going to be awesome.."

she felt like crap.
morgan didn't see why she did -- she had been trying to prove all of her life that she had independance; that men weren't everything. they liked to think they were--some of them were so goddamn sexist that she really wanted to beat them to a pulp. but this man.. no, this boy, more like it--jayden renfro. he made her insides spark when he touched her, her skin tingle, her stomach do flips and her mind go all frantic-romantic. it annoyed her to no end to know how much she was effected by him, how much she surrendered herself to him.. and she wanted to end it. she'd tried the other day, but it'd ended in her feeling like crap -- all day long for the past two days. she sighed when she woke up that morning, running her hand over her face. shit. another day of feeling like just that. she rolled out of bed, falling on her ass, and groaned, picking herself up and going straight to the shower.
and now, she was still feeling like crap.
it was, what? three in the fucking afternoon and she still felt like she wanted to kill herself. sighing, she sat on her bed and looked at her cellphone repeatedly, wishing and hoping that he'd call and try to figure this out, but it never happened. it wasn't the type of guy that jayden was -- he was reserved, and morgan knew that he absolutely dispised begging or pleading of any sort. she shook her head at herself and made plans with her friend, going out and meeting her. they hung out for a little while, her acting like normal; spunky, adventurous, and returned home around two hours later. of course, she was good at lying, and her friend never saw through her lie. lying on her couch and watching tv but not really watching it, she looked up when someone knocked on her door. william called out through the door, and her heart lifted just a little. even though he was her ex's brother, he was her best, best friend, forever. she couldn't pass up an oppertunity to apologize to him about making his brother miserable without a valid reason. getting up, she called out back to him one sec, will!"- and sped off, doing light, green eyeshadow and black eyeliner and mascara quickly before putting her shoes on, getting her already made-up purse from earlier and making her way to the door.
she hoped he wasn't going to try anything.
as in, try to get her and jayden back together. she really didn't need that at the moment. she just wanted to wallow in her misery, but she knew that she had to do this with will, because she owed her friend that much, right? morgan wondered briefly if he was mad at her, but then pushed the thought away. she knew will better than that. he wouldn't have asked to take her somewhere if he was mad at her. "hey," she greeted him as they went to his car, and she slipped inside, closing the door after herself and buckling herself in. she looked at will and smiled a little. "so, how are you today?" she inquired gently, knowing that she sounded odd from her usual self, but she couldn't deny to will that she was feeling a little down. ..it didn't mean that she couldn't lie that it was about his brother, though.

"Oh kiss me like you mean it, like you miss me..." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Will drove slowly, listening to her first question.. Her actual tone sucked - like she was going insane... He frowned, and then winced at his nose, but hid it well. He had to know how to hide his intentions and feelings around Morgan; she was like a mind reader. "Me.. I'm good.. getting tired of Jay moping though.. what the hell did you do to him?" he laughed jokingly, though knew it was no laughing matter, and turned onto the main highway... "I wanna ask though.. how are you?" His voice was gentle... not probing. Turning towards starbucks, he withdrew his wallet.. "So.. What do you want.." He wasn't getting Jayden his drink.... He had to hide every aspect of Jay he could from Morgan at the moment.. He stopped behind a red convertable, and whistled..
"Man I wish I had that car.." It was a mustang, one of the newer models, and was all chromed out.. He could almost salivate at the sight of it.. he had to maintain control though, or she'd catch on that he was trying to remove himself from the current situation.. He moved up with the car, and switched the radio station from his screaming rock metal that he'd had on the other day for the game, to a pumping hip hop song... sounded like the Pussy Cat Dolls.. he frowned, though shrugged.. hey.. hot girls, wearing next to nothing.. He was fine with that, no matter how badly their music could annoy him... Nothing like... Woah.. he had to stop himself..
Tossing her a grin, he pulled out a twenty, and stuffed his wallet between his legs, for safekeeping, of course.. "I'm buying.. whatcha want?" He pulled up to the ordering window, and laughed.. Tanner was working today.. "HEY HEY MY BROTHER FROM ANOTHER MOTHER!" Tanner shoved his head out of the window and gave Will a hand slap.. Will laughed, and sighed.. "What's up Tanner.." Tanner shrugged, adjusting his glasses.. Tanner and Will had hit it off rather well in the 10th grade.. The kid was a super genious though, so he tried extra hard to be cool, and often failed.. "Not much Willy... just working.. just working.. you tired of school yet?" He'd graduated the year before, though he was a year younger than Will was.. "Yesssss.." Tanner laughed.. "What can I get cha?" Will sighed.. "Strawberries and Cream, Vanilla Bean.. and...." He looked over at Morgan, and Tanner gave a whistle, raising his eyebrows..
"Is that your way of flirting, dude?" Will asked, looking up at him through a sideways glance.. Tanner scoffed, and shook his head.. "I'm sorry we can all be flirt-tastic like you, William Renfro.. don't be an ass... What sizes?" Will chuckled, and shook his head.. "Uh.. grande for each.. and... I guess she'll tell you what she wants.. and it doesn't include a midnight rendeveous with you.." Tanner scowled, and then shrugged.. "Okay.. those are up.. watcha need, sugar?"

she felt bad about his broken nose.
will'd gotten it, yet, by teasing jayden about taking her out to a date and kissing her and such, and she supposed, didn't know how sensitive jay was to the subject until he got socked in the nose. even if will was kinda asking for it, morgan felt bad for being the center of attention between the two boys to the point that they had to fight physically. she never wanted anyone to hurt themselves over her --never, ever. even if it meant that she wouldn't be able to see will anymore, she'd leave him alone in order to get him and his brother to stop fighting. she knew that there was a slight sibling hate, because will had been eric's favorite until jay came along-- and then the spotlight was off of him for once, and on her ex. she wondered how horrible william must've felt the whole time this went on -- they'd talked about it a few times, but morgan hadn't been there for him when it had actually happened. blinking out of her thoughts, she gave him a small, teasing smile when he joked about her and jay's break-up. she was fine, to everyone. it was only herself and would always be only herself that she'd ever show her true feelings about something, especially something this deep. she looked at him when he asked how she was in a gentle, sympathetic voice, and said firmly, "i'm good." she didn't want sympathy. she was the one who'd broken up with jayden, after all.
the car was okay.
morgan couldn't really think straight, either, the past two days, and trying to focus in on how beautiful the mercedes was, was as hard as trying to focus on a moving fly. she closed her eyes and turned to look out her window instead, smirking to herself when she noticed will's near-drooling from the corner of her eye. boys and cars. she was one of the boys, so she liked cars aswell -- fuck, some were heavenly. but she wouldn't ever kiss a car, or anything like that; let alone drool over it. shaking her head as she chuckled, she looked up when he said that he was buying and opened her mouth to object, but then they pulled up to the ordering station and she saw tanner, one of will's friends. he was a geeky kid, always trying to be cool but never suceeding. she knew him around, she hadn't really ever spoken to him though. she started to say her order when will turned to her, but raised her eyebrows in amusement when tanner whistled at her. she turned her head away to choke back laughter and then turned back to them, smiling politely. "a double chocolate chip frappacino, thanks," she told him, sending a playful wink tanner's way.

"Oh kiss me like you mean it, like you miss me..." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Will groaned as his phone rang, and answered.. "What?" Some mumbled voices.. "No! It's not my fault he's going to be late.. you wanted a frappucinno.. well I didn't know! You know what.. quit! I'm working on it.. I know.. shut up.. No.. okay.... GOD!" Hanging up, he grumbled.. "He had to take Jay to mom, but he was waiting for his drink first.. Anyways.. he's excited for playing rock band.. and.. yeah.. plus, he wants to show you this song he helped write on the guitar.." He laughed softly, and then turned to see Tanner with the drinks.. "okay folks.. plenty for everyone.." He handed Will Morgan's drink, and Will handed it to her.. He put the other one in the cupholder for Eric, and took his... Handing over the 20, he laughed, and then took the few bucks in change he had left over.. "Be a good kid, Tanner, and stop hitting on the innocent girls, who just happen to be hot, in passenger seats.. jeez.." Tanner chuckled as well, ruffled Will's hair, and watched them drive off..
The drive to the apartment didn't take long at all. He was still mad at Eric; there was no reason to act like that over the phone, especially with the plan in play.. He parked, and got out, locking his car when Morgan was out, and had her door closed.. Grabbing the drinks for himself and Eric, he walked towards the door.. "Well maybe this will help clear your mind some..." he added, noticing the distance in her eyes.. She was off a little today, but it was her own doing, right? Maybe this wasn't a good idea, interfering with her and Jay's relationship... but they were destroying themselves..
A text from Eric told him Jay was in the room, playing the guitar.. He would have to do this fast if it was going to work, because Morgan would fight like hell on her feet to get away.. so he'd be carrying her? Interesting thought.. He opened the door, and smiled.. Eric had the game started, every thing set up so it'd appear realistic.. Before she had a chance to settle in though, Will had set their drinks down, Eric had picked hers up, and Will was reaching for her waist.. Picking her up, he tossed her over his shoulder, and shook his head.. "You know what's sad.. you'll probably never trust me after this, ever again... but this is so worth it.." Jayden stood up and looked out the door, but with his two brothers shoving him back in, he had no escape..
"So.. we uh.. we set this up.." Eric began.. "To make you two idiots realize you're being just that.. idiots.. We've known you two are supposed to be together since you were in the last years of junior high... but noooo had to go and ruin it for us.." Eric slammed the door.. "And this is perfect, because the window's are nailed shut... the door locks from the OUTSIDE!" he added, shoving Jayden back down into a seat as Will dropped Morgan on the bed.. "And.. until you guys make up, you're not leaving.. the parents have already been notified, and they aided in the plan scheming of this perfect crime.. So.. enjoy the time alone, my little lovers in denial!" Will and Eric both cackled as they dove out the door, the final play being locking the door.. Their voices faded as they sat down outside in the hall, and then left again because Will suggested playing rock band..
Jay glared at the door for a long time, and then shook his head.. He stood, and slammed his fist into the wall before sinking into his beanbag chair in the corner, and hiding his face.. There wasn't an reason to talk to Morgan, but just in general, he spoke.. "I hate you!" he yelled, meaning his brothers.. "I mean it.. don't think I don't... you and mom.. and.. everyone involved in this.. it won't work.. SHE HATES ME!" He jerked as he screamed, defeat clear on his voice, and then he sank back into the chair, his face still hidden.. he wasn't about to cry infront of her, but his voice broke.. It was like he was invisibly sobbing.. she couldn't know he was broken this bad.. "She hates me.. she does.. and it won't work.. never... I'm done.. I'm done.. I can't do this anymore.." He was tired of heartbreak.. and only winning her heart to have it pried out of his hands.. How could she do that to him?
And why... He refused to look at her, though he wanted to terribly.. He remained quiet for a minute, and then began humming, trying to keep himself calm..; no tears, no words.. nothing. She'd have to listen to the silence everyone else had for a long time.. Will's voice outside the door caught his attention, and he stood up quickly to lean against it.. "Guys.. how come no one's talking?" Jay glared... "Because everything's already been said.. it's over... why can't you two just accept that, and let me wallow in my own pity.. I don't need anyone's damned help!" Will tisked him through the door.. "Jayden Marcus.. no war was solved by someone quitting... that's only a surrender.. not a war.. Are you going to be a coward, and let the woman you love walk over you, just like that.." Silence followed, and then Jayden groaned in agony.. "BUT IT WON'T WORK! I've tried.. you weren't there for that battle, Will... you don't know.." Will shook his head..
"Dammit! Jay.. you punched me and broke my nose for her.. I'm not letting you sit this one out.. you break my nose for her, and then lose her.. No way in hell.. you two are fixing this, or my name isn't William Anthony RENFRO!" He stomped away, Eric laughing in the background, and Jay smacked his forhead against the door, groaning again.. This wasn't his best day.. He'd have rathered go to the dentist then fight with her about this... "Please.. no more fighting.." he asked, his voice directed to Morgan.. for the first time in three days, he looked at her, his eyes solemn and revealing his broken heart.. "I don't have it in me.. I can't take it.."

who'd called him?
morgan looked at will in curiousity when he answered his phone and started yelling at the person on the other end as their drinks were being made. giggling, she rolled her eyes and looked back out the window. will always had a way to make her smile. she tilted her head once he'd finished the phone call, and she figured he knew what that meant so he explained. nodding, she smiled a little and took her drink from tanner, thanking him. she laughed when will teased tanner about hitting on her and drove off, and morgan looked at will in amusement. "i'm not innocent.. you of all people should know that." she snorted, taking a sip of her drink. this particular drink always got her hyper, and she knew that she needed just that to play rockband against will and eric. "thanks, by the way," she told him, motioning to the drink in her hand. she put it down on her lap; her hand was getting cold. "this is delicious." grinning at will, she looked back out the window and looked at the scenery as she thought. before she knew it, they'd pulled into the driveway and she hopped out of the car, closing the door after her. looking at him, she shrugged as he told her it might clear her mind. "rockband always helps." she joked, walking inside before him and looking around. she smiled at the reminder of their house and hugged eric hello, opening her mouth to state a threat when she was suddenly upside down. "whoa, holy shit! let me down, will!" she gasped, hitting his back and kicking wildly. she tried to wiggle out of his grasp, but it was no use. what the hell?
he spoke, and her eyes widened.
"w-what?!" she screeched, hitting his back harder. morgan knew that it hurt -- she played sports; she hit like a guy, and a muscled guy, at that. but it didn't seem to be working against will. "what the hell?!" she exclaimed, seeing jayden and trying vainl to wiggle her way out of there. shit, she didn't want to talk to him, let alone see her ex. she gulped when will dropped her on jay's bed and stared at the brothers, wide-eyed. "no, no, don't even-" she started, and they disappeared out of the room and locked the door behind them. "shit." sighing, she slumped into the covers for a few moments before sitting up and bringing her knees to her chest awkwardly. the room practically reeked of tension, morgan could feel it and it made her shiver. her and jay didn't want anything to do with eachother anymore; it was like their friendship had disappeared into thin air, never to come back. nibbling on her lip, she sat in silence for the time being, reminding herself that the two boys had to let them out some time. she gnawed at her straw for a little while in the silence, before deciding that actually drinking the beverage would be better, and sipped silently. she couldn't feel or taste the chocolate liquid, though.. her mind was too busy freaking out about her current predicament, though she'd never admit it aloud.. morgan had too much pride for that.
he thought she hated him?
granted, that was what she'd said when she'd broken up with him.. she remembered it clearly, still, even though most of her memory had surprisingly gotten lost in her mind the past two days. everything felt numbing, nothing would make her happy.. she the worst part about it? morgan didn't even care. sighing, she reminesced on what she'd said to him, wincing a little at the memory. "we're never going to work out, jayden, don't you see?! i don't even fucking like you! you should've known better than to accept my lie so quickly that you did.. i'm surprised my lies were bought, actually. damn it, jay, don't fucking cry. you look like a pussy." and then she'd walked off. it'd been bad, hurtful and quick -- and she, more than anything, had expected and wanted jayden to hate her. but now he was accusing her of hating him?! shaking her head but saying nothing, she reached for one of his books and started to read quietly, sipping her drink ever-so-often. she tried to pay no attention to her ex across the room, just as he'd been doing to her. then will came back, and morgan picked her head up anxiously, but then saw the time and reminded herself that he would've left them inside longer than this. her ears picked up their conversation, and her heart broke even more.
his voice was almost angelic to her, now.
she looked up in surprise -almost giving herself whiplash in the process- when he spoke, and she knew it was directed at her.. his voice was soft and heart-broken, defeated-sounding. her eyes locked onto his and she stilled for a few moments, having the breath knocked out of her. morgan knew, deep down, that she didn't want to loose him. she'd never wanted to break up with him, but.. it was her defence mecanism. she couldn't be hurt again, and especially not by one of her best guy friends. she wouldn't allow it. so, instead, she saved herself the hurt -or so she thought- and broke up with him, feeding him lies and making him believe that she hated him. wow, she thought to herself vaguely, i am a cold-hearted bitch. but she had to keep pushing him away; he'd get too close, and she couldn't handle that.. "since when were we fighting?" she muttered to herself, but loud enough for him to hear in the silent room, shaking her head and tearing her eyes away from his. she hugged her legs tighter to her chest, staring down at her almost-finished drink. "oh, suck it up, jayden. girls are going to break your heart in your life; get over it." she said rather spitefully, not liking the guilty feeling she was getting in her gut.

"Oh kiss me like you mean it, like you miss me..." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Jayden stared at her for a long moment, confused. Why was she acting like this? He'd never done anything to hurt her.. he'd always been there for her, and if anything, they'd always been easy around eachother... not.. bitchy.. He scoffed at her comment.. "No.. you didn't break my heart.. I did.. I let myself fall for you.. but if you're so fine with this, why are you the one hugging your knees?" His voice wasn't menacing... just.. soured, like he was disgusted with the entire situation.. There was silence outside, and then a murmur in the hall.. They were listening.. Well he guessed they had the right.. Prisoners had no privacy.. Sinking back against the wall, he lowered his body to the floor, shaking his head.. "What in the hell did I do wrong? If I remember right.. you asked me to kiss you... and I did.. and I fell.. smack.. hard into the floor, face first.. and.. you seemed to like that fact.. a little smug, even?" He sighed, his dark eyes narrowed as they flickered over her face..
"I've never given you a reason to hate me.. I've never done anything wrong against you.. if I had, I'm sure you wouldn't have let me go on without knowing... I even socked Will for you.. and I'm the one who's being a bitch? Really.. who needs to grow up?" He laughed at that, and placed his forhead against his knees, shaking his head.. Why was this even happening? Jay understood a lot of the hard knocks in life a lot better than most people did, but this was one thing that truly perplexed him.. She was one of the strangest people in the world.. "Maybe you should go on a date with Will, since he never seems to do you wrong... you know... half the shit he said to me.. should have hurt your feelings too.. or at least made you want to sock him... and.. the one person who defended you, is the one who gets burned.. I guess there's no such thing as justice anymore.. really.."
Will tapped on the door again.. "you know.. Morgan.. he has a point.. He hit me for you, because you weren't there to do it.." Or at least that's what they'd all gotten out of the conversation when Will and Jay had to talk face to face after the fight.. That too had been a hostage situation.. Jay jerked his head, watching her sip her drink, and grumbled.. "And where in the hell is my drink!?" Jay glared at the door, and watched it open.. Will stepped in, and laughed.. "You know.. it's funny.. I totally forgot it when I kidnapped your ex to get you two back together.. you know what.. we'll make this fair.." He stood, and yanked Morgan's drink away.. "it'll be in the freezer... after you're done, you can have it.." He handed it to Eric out of the door, and he took it to the kitchen.
Crossing his arms, he leaned against the door. "I don't understand how this whole thing happened anyways.." He sank to the floor as well, next to Jayden, who yanked away from him quickly, and sunk back into the bean bag chair.. "I don't either.." jay muttered, his dark eyes set on the floor.. Will reached for the light, turning it on so it wasn't so dim. Will shook his head.. "Just look at eachother.. just for a minute.. just think about it.." He slowly opened the door, and slipped out, heading back out into the hall, and relocking the door.. Jayden turned to look at her, and then sighed.. "It's okay.. you don't have to look at me.. I'm invisible anyways.. so just.. forget it.. If you want, we can just hug on the way out, and maybe they'll shut up..." He shook his head, and reached for his guitar, strumming it slowly..
The beat was simple, but it had a depressing tone to it.. He was humming softly along with the notes that left his fingertips as they danced along the strings, and then shook his head again, trying to get his mind back together.. but with her in the room, he just wanted to hold her.. Tossing her a look, he changed the beat of the song, and began singing softly..
"You, you're like driving on a sunday.. You.. You're like taking off on monday.. You're like a dream, a dream come true.. I was just a face you never noticed.. And I, I'm just trying to be honest... With myself, with you, with my world..."

..what?
"what's the point of.. what?" she asked, confused at his reply. she looked down at her knees and shrugged, "i want to?.." she remained silent, reading his book and sipping her drink occasionally. she sighed as she let her head fall back against the pillows and looked up slightly, her knees falling and her legs going straight as she set the book down gently. her eyes narrowed when jayden spoke and started with this speech about how he never did anything and blah, blah, she wasn't really listening. until --who needs to grow up?--.. now that was crossing the line. gritting her teeth, morgan sat up straighter and glared at jayden. "i don't need to grow up, okay? i'm just being reasonable and logical. it's not going to work out between us, so why spend and waste all this time trying to make it?" she scoffed, as if it was the most obvious answer in the world. "i may have wanted to sock him, but i don't need someone fighting my battles, jayden. i can take care of myself perfectly fine." she argued with a scowl. she wanted to be independant -- he knew that. why did he have to force, just like everyone else, the fact that men 'were better'? sighing, she went back to the book, until will came in and she groaned. "leave. us. alone."
she was awefully annoyed.
sipping on her drink and ignoring will and jayden, she gasped when william took her drink out of her hands. "w-hey!"
she cried. "fuck you!" she called, huffing angrily. "this is all your damn fault," she snapped at jayden, rolling her eyes and turning back to the book. ignoring will and him again, she read the book but didn't really read. all she saw were letters and words and it was making her head hurt, so she closed it and rubbed her temples. she looked at jayden as he spoke and sighed, her shoulders slumping a little. she didn't want to be a bitch. it was just.. a part of her that only guys got to see. guys whom she really liked.. which was the sad part. "okay, let's do that, then. can we do it now? i want my drink back." she asked meekly, sliding a little in her seat. she froze when jayden started to sing and closed her eyes, trying to wish the feeling of butterflies in her stomach away. it wasn't real, it wasn't real, it wasn't real.. she chanted mentally, biting her lip. to shut him up, she launched a pillow at his face. "Oh kiss me like you mean it, like you miss me..." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Maybe she was afraid to fall in love with him? He frowned at that thought, and was about to quit playing, when the pillow met his face.. He scoffed, grumbled a curseword under his breath, and tossed a heated glare at her.. "Okay.. one.. now I'm not letting this end so easily.. our friendship is too damned important, and I'm not giving up on loving you.." He held up two fingers.. "Two.. you don't just throw a pillow at someone writing a song in their head.. they forget everything.. and three.. You totally sucked at that throw.." He stood up carefully, and set the guitar down.. At that, he launched himself across the room after scooping up the pillow, and hit her with it.. He laughed slightly when he realized what he'd done, and raised a brow at her..
"Engarde?"
Will peered into the door just slightly, and then back out, telling Eric what was fixing to happen.. Jayden gave a battle cry, and grabbed another pillow, kicking off his shoes.. Stepping on the bed, he waved a finger her way.. "Come on.. like the old days.. pillow fight.. a good one.. it fixes everything.. and no one get's hurt.. come on.." Taking another swing at her, he began laughing, forgetting that he'd even been fighting with her for a minute, and then felt the surge of anger, and hit her harder, growling.. "That's for crushing my heart.." he added, his eyes searching her face for any retort, or reply.. He wasn't letting her get away without hearing his story..
"I don't understand.. Maybe you're ... just afraid.. of falling in love with me.. afraid.. that.." He swung again, dodging her swings, and then taking one hard.. He fell back on the bed, and grumbled.. "It may just ruin our friendship.. but you put it on the express lane with "I DONT WANNA LOVE YOU JAYDEN!" crap.. seriously.. how could you want me one day, think it's going to work, and then the next day, turn me away.. You are.. the most.. confusing.. woman.. in the world.. but I guess that's why I'm still.. in love.. with you.." He grumbled again, taking another hit.. "OW!" Reaching for her legs, he swept her off of her feet, and onto the bed, rolling to pin her.. "You're not walking out of here without telling me why you don't think it will work.."
His eyes met hers, and he inhaled, feeling his heart skip a beat..
"Because unlike you.. I still believe it can.. and I want it to.. because I'm falling harder for you than I even though possible.." He frowned at that, his dark eyes turning away as his cheeks flushed, and then he looked back at her just in time to see the pillow coming.. He rolled, but rolled the wrong way, and fell onto the other side of the bed, getting both of them stuck in the "crack" next to the wall.. He groaned, and shook his head.. "Can you get up?" He noticed she couldn't, and laughed.. "Wow.. how did that work.. sheesh.. Okay.. so... are you going to yell at me now, now that I've told you everything.. I'm in love with you.. there.. I said it.."

his expression was hilarious.
morgan stiffled a giggle when the pillow hit him in the face. she covered her mouth, her eyes shinning a little when he turned to glare at her, and she ducked her head, giggling into her lap. she raised her head when he started to speak, listening. her eyes narrowed when she heard the first thing he was listing off, and then laughed a little when he stated number two, shrugging impishly. "oh, yeah? i'd like to see you throw better," she challenged with a raised eyebrow, smirking triumphantly. she gasped when he hit her with another pillow that was laying across the floor, and raised her hands, blocking her face. "yo! careful!" she exclaimed with a laugh, scrambling away from him. she watched him silently for a few moments, then giggled when he challenged her and picked up a pillow, wacking at him furiously. she. couldn't. love. him. it was impossible; she didn't want to hurt him more than she already did, and that's what she was thinking when they pillow-fighted. she saw will poke his head through the door and stuck her tongue out at him. she nodded when jayden spoke and readied herself, standing in her pillow-fight stance silently until he made the first move.
it felt good to be like this again.
just two friends, pillow fighting.. and for a few moments, morgan felt herself going along with the theme. that was, until, she felt the change of force in his hits, and she knew he was angry at her, to some point. her eyes widened in surprise when he growled out his excuse, and they darted to his eyes rapidly. she let her barrier go for a moment, showing how truely sorry she was as she stilled for a second, and then shook her head and dodged his hits just as easily as he did her's. he was talking, but she tried not to listen; she didn't feel like a guilt-trip at that point. she wacked him, and he fell onto the bed. she winced a little, stepping back a little as he continued his speech. she got fed up of him talking and rolled her eyes, smacking him with her pillow once again. she cried out when she fell onto her back, him pinning her quickly..
her breath is officially gone.
she stared up at him as he pinned her, speaking in a gentle but firm voice, and she shook her head, rejecting the idea of him loving her more. this was all supposed to be so he would hate her.. not love her more. "no," she whispered, trying to move away from him desperately. she knew that if this went on any longer, she'd give in.. and end up hurting him all over again. she stared at him when she found herself stuck up against a wall, and unable to move, and she sighed. shit. he spoke and she shook her head again, not wanting to be there right then. "please, jay, don't.." she whispered, pleading with him gently.

"Oh kiss me like you mean it, like you miss me..." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Jay blinked when she pleaded with him to not do something.. He only had one free hand with the sideways position they were in.. Reaching up, he pushed the hair out of her face, and frowned.. "Don't do what? I don't understand.. what I did wrong.." He swallowed nervously, his dark eyes searching her own, and then her face.. "I... I got everything I ever wanted.. with just you.. asking me to kiss you.. and then.. a week later, we're not talking? When did we decide to give up our friendship for something so petty.. I need you, I do... I wouldn't lie about that.. you're the glue that holds me together Morgan.. don't you know that?" He inhaled softly, and then pushed against the bed, trying to free some space up between them.. Unfortunately, it didn't budge.. and Will and Eric would only find this more pleasing to their plans; he wasn't about to tell them...
"Look.. I don't care if you can't stand me.. if you want to hate me... forever.. but.. I can't.. I won't.. I refused to stop loving you.." he stopped, his voice breaking again.. "Because.. that world doesn't work for me.. and.. I don't think.. I'd survive long.." He inhaled, trying to maintain composure, and then tore his eyes away, suddenly mad that he had no where to hide from her.. Face to face.. Well it's what he wanted, wasn't it? But now, he didn't see this going anywhere except to heartbreak.. If she confirmed that she could live without him, fine... but it'd kill him.
"You uh.. you should know I used this to write a song.. and it's brilliant.. a really good one.. but.. I don't guess it matters now.." He struggled to lift himself away from her, begging for some sort of escape.. but it wasn't working.. Finally, anger filled him, and he managed to get away from her.. He had to.. she was killing him.. Not with her presence, but the fact that her eyes didn't seem to show any willing to bend away from the current situation.. He finally freed himself, leaving her alone to get out by herself, and sat on the end of the bed, his head in his hands.. "I'm sorry.. mabye.. maybe I should just give up..."
